Important Announcement: JACC Closure on August 27 due to Collaborative Picnic Event at Bethany Church!
We are thrilled to inform you about an upcoming event that promises to be both enjoyable and memorable! On August 27, we are organizing a special collaborative picnic service with Bethany Church, located at Lower Manning Park – site #9, located at 449 San Ysidro Road, Montecito, CA 93108. In light of this exciting event, we would like to announce that the JACC will be closed for the day.
For those in need of transportation, we are pleased to offer carpooling options. If you require a ride to the event, please gather at JACC by 9:00 AM, as the carpool will depart promptly to ensure timely arrival at Bethany Church. The event will officially commence at 10:00 AM, with attendees expected to arrive by this time. The worship service, a centerpiece of our gathering, will kick off at 10:30 AM, followed by a sumptuous barbecue feast featuring delectable tri tip and chicken selections at 11:30 AM.
We encourage our community members to contribute to the potluck by bringing a dish to share. Additionally, if you have a penchant for culinary creativity, feel free to bring your own specialty dish or a serving of rice to complement the barbecue offerings. This collaborative effort will make our picnic all the more diverse and delightful.
As the day unfolds, we have an array of exciting activities planned. Following lunch, there will be engaging games for the kids, providing them with a chance to enjoy the outdoors and make new friends. Additionally, a raffle will take place, offering a wonderful opportunity for everyone to win some exciting prizes. The event will draw to a close by 1:30 PM.
Regular activities and services at the JACC will resume as usual on September 3rd. We look forward to welcoming you back with renewed energy and enthusiasm.
